A clearer view
of everyday AI use.
GPTandME counts prompts from supported AI chat sites and keeps those counts on your device. A focused tool with a simple question at its center: how much am I using these tools?
Make a small habit visible.
It combines ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity counts, with optional Grok access, into daily totals and longer-term views. No account or separate backend is required.
Give the user control of their data.
It stores usage locally without keeping conversation text or sending usage to a server. JSON backup and restore, plus CSV export, give people access to their records.
Be precise about the measurement.
It observes new prompts on supported browser sites. Desktop apps, command-line clients, direct API calls and older conversations are outside its scope.
A count records a submitted prompt, not a successful response. It is not a measurement of tokens or billing.
A product you can inspect.
The public repository includes privacy documentation and development checks. This is the kind of focused product work I enjoy: choosing a useful boundary, making the behavior understandable and being clear about what the tool measures.
